We encourage growth in music through music appreciation classes, vocal training and instrument knowledge, as well as private and group instruction. We even have our own band! We offer dinner and a show under one roof on many productions. We've added Ballroom/Swing dance lessons and karaoke nights to our growing list of activities.
We are currently leasing to purchase the building pictured above. STAAR productions and activities are conducted on first floor. The second floor is the 1868 Antoinette Hall Opera House, which we believe to be the oldest standing theater of its kind in Tennessee. A fundraising effort is underway to restore the historic building for adaptive reuse as a Center for the Arts.
